How Does the Push Notification Work?
The myPOS Push Notification Authentication Method enhances security by sending a push message to your mobile phone whenever you log into your account, make a payment, manage users, or perform any action that requires authorization. You can then approve or reject the operation directly from your mobile device.
Steps to Set Up and Use Push Notifications:
Link a Device:
- Log into the myPOS app on the device you want to use for authentication.
- Alternatively, set the device as the authentication device by pressing “Set as authentication” in your account settings.
Performing Operations:
- When you log into the myPOS platform via the website, a push notification will be sent to your linked device.
- Approve or reject the operation from the notification on your mobile device.
If Push Notification is Not Received:
- Start the offline authentication mode by clicking on “I didn’t receive a push notification in my myPOS app.”
- Follow the steps to enter an 8-digit code from the app to complete the authentication.
- This method ensures secure and efficient transaction authentication.
