Connectivity settings of myPOS Smart devices

STEP 1: Slide down the taskbar at the top of the screen and tap on the settings icon.
STEP 2: Tap on the Wi-Fi icon and select the network you want to connect to. Ensure that the device is within the range of the network.
STEP 3: If the Wi-Fi network requires a password, enter it in the pop-up screen to complete the connection.
 
Troubleshooting Connection Issues
 
Error: ‘Unable to reach authorisation host’
• Network Restrictions: The router might have network traffic restrictions or specific filters.
• Special Settings: The router might need specific settings or a special TCP/IP configuration which the myPOS device does not support.
• Signal Strength: Ensure the network signal is strong enough, indicated by the Wi-Fi signal icon on the screen.
 
Connectivity
1. SIM Card: all devices come with a free data SIM card for continuous connectivity.
2. Wi-Fi: all devices can connect to Wi-Fi networks for internet access.
3. Bluetooth & Hotspot: option to connect via Bluetooth or use a smartphone hotspot for internet access.
 
The above setting are valid for a wide range of myPOS smart devices: Pro, Carbon, Smart N5, Smart, Hub, Hub+.
