All myPOS devices come with pre-authorization functionality. This feature is beneficial for various business activities, allowing them to place a temporary hold on a specific amount on the customer's credit card.
Pre-Authorization transactions may only be used for payments related to the following services:
- Damage to rental vehicles;
- Food or beverage charges;
- Fuel;
- Goods and services purchased aboard a vessel of a Cruise Line;
- Insurance;
- Parking tickets and other traffic violations;
- Rental fees;
- Room charges; and
- Taxes
