Why am I asked for my PIN when making contactless payments with my myPOS card?

Following the PSD2 legislation and the Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements, you will be asked to enter your PIN when making contactless payments in the following scenarios:

Single Transaction Above 100 EUR: If you make a single contactless transaction that exceeds 100 EUR, you will be prompted to enter your PIN.
Consecutive Transactions Exceeding 150 EUR: If you make consecutive contactless payments that cumulatively exceed 150 EUR, you will be asked to enter your PIN.
These measures are in place to enhance the security of your transactions and protect against unauthorized use of your card.
