Termination of POS Device Rental Plan

1. Termination Requested by the Merchant

  • During the Minimum Rental Period
    Merchants may request termination by sending a written notice to help@mypos.com at least 1 month in advance.
    Additional information can be found in the rental documentation reviewed and signed.
  • After the Minimum Rental Period Ends
    Merchants may terminate the rental plan by providing a 2-month written notice via email to help@mypos.com.
    Additional information can be found in the rental documentation reviewed and signed.

2. Termination Initiated by myPOS

  • After the Minimum Rental Period Ends
    myPOS may terminate the Rental Service by providing a 2-month notice, without specifying a reason.
  • In Case of Non-Payment
    If the merchant fails to pay any due rental fees, a 30-day grace period is granted, during which reminders are sent.
    myPOS may restrict outgoing payments from the merchant’s account or deactivate the rented terminals to ensure payment.
  • In Case of Breach
    myPOS reserves the right to terminate the Rental Service with immediate effect at any time.

    Note: During the notice period, the merchant can continue using the terminal.

What Happens After the Notice Period Ends

  • The rental plan is cancelled
  • The terminal(s) can no longer be used for transaction processing
  • The terminal(s) must be returned within 30 days to the respective local entity:

Terminal Replacements 

Replacements for faulty terminals are free of charge for the duration of the Rental Agreement and are handled by the local sales teams.

Note: A fee may be applied if the faulty returned terminal has failed due to accidental or deliberate damage. *You will not be required to return the faulty terminal separately; instead, the old device will be collected at the time the new one is delivered.
