POS Device Errors That Cannot Be Fixed Remotely

Occasionally, your POS device may display errors or encounter issues. Do not worry - below you will find the most common problems and the steps you can follow to resolve them.

My device shows one of the following errors - what should I do?

  • Transactions cancelled with a flashing red border (contactless/NFC issue).

  • Error screen: “Protection Mode”.

  • Error screen: “PED Tampered” (security alert).

  • Device locked: “Please contact the manufacturer”.

  • Device asks for “Password setting” at startup.

  • Screen only shows battery status and time.

  • Errors such as “LIB Selfcheck!” or “GJLIB Library file lost!”.

  • Device is not charging properly or battery drains within minutes.

Unfortunately, these issues cannot be resolved remotely.

Action required:
