Understanding WooCommerce order status with myPOS

When a customer completes a payment through your WooCommerce store using myPOS, the payment is processed through your myPOS account and the transaction appears in your myPOS dashboard.

The order status in WooCommerce is updated based on the payment result. After a successful payment, the order should no longer require customer action, and payment-related options such as “Pay” or “Cancel” should not be displayed.

If the order status does not update as expected, this may be related to your store configuration, plugin setup, or payment status synchronisation.

You can check that your myPOS plugin is installed and connected correctly, and that online payments are active in your myPOS account.

If you notice ongoing inconsistencies in order status behaviour, you may need to review your store setup.
