To complete the self-identification process for myPOS, follow these steps:
1. Initial Setup:
- Choose your nationality and the type of identity document you will use.
- Grant the app permission to access your geographical location.
2. Permissions:
- Click "Continue" and allow the app to use your microphone and camera.
3. Document Capture:
- Identity Document: Align the document within the screen parameters, starting with the front and then the back. The phone will automatically take a picture when aligned correctly. Ensure all elements are visible.
- Retake Option: If any elements are blurred or unclear, you can retake the photo.
4. Selfie Capture:
- Position your head within the circle on the screen. Ensure no other people are in the background.
- Follow any additional instructions to adjust your position or lighting.
5. Upload Documents:
- The system will upload your documents. If the upload fails, you will need to redo the process.
6. Processing Notification:
- You will be notified that your documents are being processed. You will receive a notification once the review is complete.
- If proof of address is required, you will receive an email, push notification, and a message in your account's notification center.
7. Additional Documentation:
- If further documents are needed to verify your company and complete the Merchant Verification Process, myPOS will contact you within several business days.
