Keeping your myPOS Glass device secure is essential to protecting your payments and your customers' data. Here's everything you need to know to keep your device safe and running smoothly.
What You Must Do
These are the core security practices that help us keep your device working and your payments safe.
Control Who Uses Your Device
- Only give trusted employees access to your device and the myPOS Glass app
- Set up a strong screen lock – use a PIN, password, or your fingerprint
- Set your device to auto-lock after a few minutes of inactivity
Protect Your Device
- Keep your device in good condition by checking it regularly for any physical damage or signs of tampering
- If your device is lost or stolen, contact us right away at help@mypos.com or reach out to your account manager so we can block the app remotely and keep your business safe
- If you're sending your device for repair or servicing, uninstall myPOS Glass first or let us know so we can block it – this protects your data while it's away

- Install Android security updates as soon as they're available
- Update myPOS Glass to the latest version through Google Play Store
- Keep only trusted apps on your device – download everything from Google Play Store only
- Turn on Google Play Protect for automatic malware scanning
