myPOS Carbon, Slim, Smart & Smart N5
- STEP 1: Slide down the taskbar at the top of the screen and tap on the icon at the top right corner
- STEP 2: Tap on the Wi-Fi icon and select the network. Make sure that the device is in range of the preferred network
- STEP 3: If the Wi-Fi network requires a password, enter the password in the pop-up screen to complete the connection
Errors when connecting the device and potential reasons:
‘Unable to reach authorization host’
- The router has a network traffic restriction or specific filter
- The router requires a specific setting or a special TCP/IP configuration on the device (myPOS operates with the default settings only)
- The network signal is not strong enough. The network signal strength is indicated via a Wi-Fi signal icon located at the upper corner of the screen.
