Yes, you can still accept payments from cards that are not Visa or Mastercard using the myPOS Glass app. Here’s how:
Generate a QR Code:
- Open the myPOS Glass app.
- Enter the payment amount.
- Generate a QR code for the transaction by using the Payment request functionality.
2. Customer Scans the QR Code:
- The customer uses their mobile device to scan the QR code displayed on your phone.
- They will be directed to a secure online payment page.
3. Complete the Payment:
- On the secure page, the customer enters their card details to complete the payment or pays with a single tap using their Apple or Google Wallet.
- myPOS Glass supports various card types through this method, including AMEX, Bancontact, JCB, any other card added in Apple Pay and Google Pay.
4. Instant Settlement:
- Once the payment is complete, the funds are instantly settled into your myPOS account.
