Complaints Policy | Exchange of a defective myPOS shipment
The customer (merchant) may return the entire myPOS shipment, including the myPOS device and myPOS card, within 60 days of the original order date. The complaint must meet the conditions set out in the Complaints Policy. To speed up the process, the customer is strongly advised to use a courier service, not the local post office.
• Do not open or attempt repairs: The customer should not open or attempt to repair the myPOS device. This will be considered a defect caused by the client, which will void the obligations regarding the device return policy.
• Purchases from distributors: If the device was purchased from a myPOS distributor or intermediary, please contact them for information on their specific return policy. For
detailed information on the RMA (Return Material Authorisation) complaint process, please contact customer support.
If you wish to return your myPOS product, you must first contact us by email at returns@mypos.com. When returning a product, you must always complete the return form available here and send it to us together with the returned product. Without a return form, your return request will not be accepted.
Disposal
Do not throw away your myPOS device, including batteries, cables or other components, in normal household waste. If the device is not working, send it for repair in accordance with the myPOS Complaints Policy available at https://www.mypos.com/legal/return_policy
Device theft
From the date of activation, the myPOS device is permanently linked to your myPOS e-money merchant account. Any transaction, even if the device is stolen or lost, will be credited to the same merchant account.
If your device is lost or stolen:
1. Immediately remove all accessories from the device.
2. Inform myPOS Customer Support.
Deactivating a device:
1. Log in to your myPOS account
2. Go to the “POS Devices” menu
3. Select the device from the list.
4. Click “Settings” and deactivate the device.
